DIY Inspiration: Louis Vuitton headbands
I've been reading months worth of fashion magazines searching endlessly for DIY ideas in the expansive editorials. I've recently just gone back to the pages I've dog-eared and found the Louis Vuitton editorial. Of course I love the pastels and the large eyelet lace (who doesn't?), but I'm absolutely adoring the headband/tiara/jeweled piece that all the models are wearing. Hopefully I can did through my vintage collection and come up with a good and easy DIY!!:) Here Are some pictures that I've collected (and coveted!!).

DIY phone case!!:)
I've been planing on making my own phone case since I saw this adorable case at Disneyland. I looked at the back of the case and the price read 95$. I was like there is no way it should be that expensive. So I bought a clear case, rhinestones, a piece of fake leather, and glue off eBay. My total price = 7$. Now thats a deal:) the picture on top is my inspiration and the one on the bottom I just made:)

DIY-Chanel Inspired Bracelet and Matching Belt
Chanel Inspired Belt + Cuff
A few weeks ago i was scrolling through a runway app on my phone looking through countless amazing Fall 2012 collections when i came across Chanel.
I first noticed that the background actually had giant crystals, then i started to notice the bedazzled eyebrows, and then finally the accessories. I took one look at the belt in the picture above and fell in love. I thought of a DIY to recreate the piece to use in my everday life.
What you will need...
- Hot-Glue Gun
- Glue Gun Refills
- An old belt
- A slab of agate ( got a set of 2 off ebay for 1.99)
Pick the spot you want to glue the slab on.
And glue!! Done as fast as you can say DIY!!
EXTRA:
Since i had an extra slab i decided to make a matching cuff:)
Just get a blank cuff.
Put on some hot glue while the gun is still hot.
Let dry. Tah-Dah!!! Insta Cute!!

Easy Collar DIY
Lace Collar
Super quick DIY that is super adorable with any outfit!!
Measure a piece of lace that fits almost all the way around your neck but not all the way, and measure a piece of suede cord depending on how big you want the bow to be.
Thread the cord through a hole at the end of the lace piece
Repeat on the other side and pull the cord.
Now tie in a cute little bow. So easy!!!

DIYed Ombré top.
I have been coveting ombré tops and dip dyed shorts for what seems like centuries. Just yesterday I decided to try it with an old white button up that was stuffed in the bottom of my closet. It had a lot of potential though!!;) Here is the outcome. I hope that it looks good!!

DIY: Thread Braid Bracelet
Yay!! This is my first DIY project!! I'm so excited to finally share my projects! Well anyway while searching around on net-a-porter i found these adorable braided bracelets by Alyssa Norton. I wanted them in my collection before i could say mine!! Unfortunately 140$ was a little out of my price range, but i thought to do a DIY. Enjoy!!
For this DIY you will need...
- embroidery floss ( i used two colors)
- a lobster clasp and jump ring
- a needle
- rhinestone chain ( i got mine off eBay)
- Separate your floss into 3 sections.
2. Braid it to the end
3. Wrap the ends with another strip of embroidery floss and add the clasp and jump ring on alternate sides
4. trim the ends
5. thread your needle and tie the end of the string to the base of the braid |
6. lay your chain where you want it to be and sew it in between the rhinestones!!
All done!! So cute and it only cost me about 4$! I hope you guys enjoyed my first DIY!!:)

Chilly Day Outfit
Joppa Striped Dollman, Vintage shorts (see DIY here)
Justice Leggings, Mossimo Boots, Cheetah Scarf (ebay)
If any of you live in california the weather has been quite bipolar lately, well thats an understatement. It went from 80 degrees to 60 degrees in two days. Well anyway my outfit today was a little bit punk, just like the weather;).
